Intersection of Architectural Illustration and Technical Illustration

Most architectural illustration doesn't afford the opportunity to fully encompass beauty and craft in the same sense that technical illustration often does; sometimes, however there is an intersection space in which these illustrative morphologies can coexist: I was lucky enough in some of 2017 to be working with minarc in Santa Monica, who found value in my more illustrative stye of detailing, and I was very happy to be able to produce illustrative work in this context, knowing it helps communicate design intent and clarify construction methodology in a way which typical architectural orthogonal drawings may not do as readily.

All architectural design depicted herein is wholly the Intellectual Property of minarc: though much of the design is in fact my work for them, as I was there as a designer on these projects.
